Windows Media Services on Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition.
Getting the error message dialog box:
Windows Media Services
[X] Error Description: Library not registered.
Error Code: 0x8002801d
when trying to select the Source tab of a publishing point that has a
playlist, using the management console.
This seems to be related to my previous report "Invalid access to memory
location Error Code: 0x800703e6"
In this case Live Communications Server 2005 has just been competely
uninstalled from the server.
It appears it has unregistered the COM components that display the WSX file
in Windows Media Server management console.
Tried to fix it using wmsserverconfig.exe /repair but this didn't do it.
Used RegMon to try and identify the CLSID of the unregistered components
without success.
Is there another 'Repair' option that avoids having to reinstall WMS again?
