BOTH REWRITABLE&DVD ROM PLAYER ARE DEAD COMPLETLY |

About 1 month ago I installed windows XP home edition everything was
okay.Then 2 weeks ago both my rewritable drive & dvd/rom player both went out
completly.I go to device manager & it shows the exclamation point! on both of
them.I tried to reinstall them & troubleshoot through the xp system & I cant
do it! It also has an error message that says:error 39 missing or corrupt
drivers,however according to win/xp the drivers for both these devices are
included,i even tried to update the drivers & still nothing!PLEASE HELP!!
