found new media, found new hardware problem |

everytime i try to play media, i get a 'found new media' and 'found new
hardware' bubbles popping up and it also says that some of my newly installed
hardware may not work properly, as well as an installation wizard pops up as
well. this first started last year when i installed a veo webcam into my
windows xp. i also tried to go to my device manager but when i click on it,
a black screen pops up for an instant and then disappears, so i can't get
into it. how can i get rid of these media problems? i tried to uninstall my
webcam, but it still happens.
