I have large and growing catalog of media that's all
been encoded using MBR.
Often, most of the time frankly, when bandwidth isn't
sufficient, the lower
bitrate connection doesn't kick in. How can I give the
end user the ability
to force a lower bitrate connection?

THANKS! I tried each bitrate in this form
mms://streamingserver/video/content?WMBitRate=111 but they all come out at
80kbps. What am I doing wrong and is there a way to give the end user the
option of choosing via some buttons or links in the WMP itself?
And why doesn't MBR work with my video. It works 1 time out very 100 with
video and about 1/4 of the time with just an audio stream?
