MPEG-4 w/H.264 support?

Is there a plan from Microsoft, or any ISV to provide a codec for
MPEG-4/H.264 now that the licensing has been worked through by the MPEG
folks? It would be great to see WM supporting WM and MPEG-4 jointly - I
have seen demo's of MPEG-4 now that they have embraced the h.264 platform,
and it is the first codec that I have seen that looks better than WM, and it
uses fewer resources. Any insight?
